The story:
This client came to us looking for a cocktail ring to wear on her wedding day. She wanted a statement piece and a nod to her ‘something blue’ but also a timeless design that she could pass down to her children.
The ring took inspiration from the Art Deco era, using bold geometric shapes, formed of angular cut stones. In order to complement the step cut of the Aquamarine, we selected baguette cut diamonds which were cut to specification.
After the design sketches were approved and the gemstone was selected to fit within their budget, the piece went into production.
Finished piece uses a 3ct. A grade aquamarine centre stone and 0.5ct. VVS trapezoid diamond shoulder stones in a rubover setting.
The final ring is a true classic, unique, chunky and party ready. The client was thrilled with the outcome and the ring has not left her finger since collecting it.
